Go! Youth Trust is based in the centre of Falkirk where we have our offices as well as our youth and outreach centre, M28. We took over the running of this building in February 2016 and have started a funding appeal to be able to bring it back to it’s original purpose of serving young people and families from Central Scotland.
The building was first built in 1880 by the Falkirk YMCA and has been used extensively for community outreach since then. The “YMCA Christian Institute” (as it’s known locally) was the first public library in Falkirk and generations of young people have been involved in the youth work and outreach that has been run there in the last 136 years!
We are thrilled to be able to plan for the next 100 years of work!
If you are looking for a venue for training, meetings, community projects or small group work we plan to have two flexible spaces which we hope to hire out to the public for very reasonable rates. The centre is easily accessible by bus, rail and car.
We are currently renovating the centre and are excited to see it open to the public in 2016.
If you would be interested in supporting the renovations financially you can contribute to our building appeal by visiting www.give.net/gytbuilding. If you would like more information contact Dave on firstname.lastname@example.org
