Roots is our programme for 7-11 year’s old who need a helping hand to thrive throughout primary school. We provide primary school’s specialist staff and a team of dedicated volunteers who work with young people and families to ensure that they get best start in life possible.
Mentors often transition up to secondary school along with the young person to ensure that all the hard work which has been done over the years isn’t lost.
Roots provides early intervention mentors who work with young people in schools and in the communities throughout the year. Mentors often transition up to secondary school along with the young person to ensure that all the hard work which has been done over the years isn’t lost.
As well as individual support, we also run small group’s for young people who require additional support in building positive relationships and making positive choices. Through a range of fun, engaging sessions which include music production, coding, outdoor adventure and more we work with many schools to get their pupils on the right track and reengaged within education.
We also deliver a number of junior youth drop in’s based in schools, churches and community centres for young people to meet with friends, try new experiences and develop skills.
